After a career as a contemporary dancer, the world of photography was always where I knew I’d end up. I’ve been working with imagery my whole life but eight years ago I decided to take the leap and fully immerse myself with the photographic practice. Starting from still-photography, expanding into cinematography, I’ve truly come full-circle as a director. Today I move through all practices traversing from stills to creating moving imagery from the writer’s-table to the director’s chair, the camerawork, lighting and editing.
I use my dynamic background and knowledge to perfect the outcome. This is how I work on every project I pursue. With intuition and sensitivity I carefully shape each scene and image to evoke the feeling I seek to communicate. Every detail is a narrator, essential to the storyline.
My work ranges from art films, music videos and feature films to fine art photography and commercial photography. In the past few years I’ve been featured at the Stockholm Fringe Festival, Photoville(NY), Skövde Konstmuseum, Spectrum Art Show(Miami,) Dakota Pictures (LA) and Pershagen Galleri(Stockholm). My short “Barrel of a Gun” won awards for Best Music Video at the LA Shorts Awards, Los Angeles Motion Picture Festival, ReelHeART International Film Festival and Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival. Today I’m based in Stockholm, Sweden conducting both commissioned and personal projects.
